På senare år har elektrifiering av stadsbussar i kollektivtrafiken växlat upp i tempo och idag finns flera exempel på hur man har hanterat omställningen i svensk kollektivtrafik. I projektet e(+)bus har vi jobbat med fallstudier i Sverige (Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Jönköping, Ystad, Piteå). Vi har även gjort en internationell utblick till Norge (Oslo och Trondheim) samt Nederländerna (Eindhoven)
Fyra manualer/riktlinjer har gåtts genom enligt internationella bästa praktik kriterier. Dessa fyra manualer/riktlinjer valdes då trafiksäkerhetsgranskning som en systematisk procedur startade i England och dess grundläggande principer förfinades i Australien. Det är också av intresse hur Sveriges grannländer, Danmark och Norge har utvecklat sina egna nationella manualer.
Baserat på genomgång av internationellt etablerade bästa praktik riktlinjer och fyra länders (Australien England, Danmark och Norge) manualer/riktlinjer har riktlinjer för trafiksäkerhetsgranskning i Sverige utarbetats.
