Greening peptide chemistry by using NBP as solvent for SPPS

The preferred method for synthesising therapeutic peptides today is by Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS). SPPS is a wasteful process, where the main component of the waste is hazardous solvents, i.e., N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) or dichloromethane (DCM). 3 It is therefore desirable to search for new and greener solvents to use for SPPS, which is what has been studied

Avhandlingen är en kritThe Life of Saint Germer and the Life of Saint Josse are two poems consisting of 874 and 820 octosyllabic verses respectively. They were written in the beginning of the 13th century by Pierre de Beauvais. The two poems are preserved in one manuscript only, the Grand recueil la Clayette, Paris, Bibl. nat. Assessing the spatial variability in peak season CO2 exchange characteristics across the Arctic tundra using a light response curve parameterization

This paper aims to assess the spatial variability in the response of CO2 exchange to irradiance across the Arctic tundra during peak season using light response curve (LRC) parameters. This investigation allows us to better understand the future response of Arctic tundra under climatic change. Peak season data were collected during different years (between 1998 and 2010) using the micrometeorologi

Azaflavones compared to flavones as ligands to the benzodiazepine binding site of brain GABA(A) receptors.

A series of azaflavone derivatives and analogues were prepared and evaluated for their affinity to the benzodiazepine binding site of the GABA(A) receptor, and compared to their flavone counterparts. Three of the compounds, the azaflavones 9 and 12 as well as the new flavone 13, were also assayed on GABA(A) receptor subtypes (alpha(1)beta(3)gamma(2s), alpha(2)beta(3)gamma(2s), alpha(4)beta(3)gamma
