Mystiska stenar vittnar om Sveriges äldsta krater

Ett forskarlag har studerat fyra märkliga stenar som hittats i en grusgrop strax utanför den lilla byn Kitkiöjärvi i Pajala kommun. Analyser av mineralkorn i stenarna visar att de härstammar från ett hittills okänt meteoritnedslag för 659 miljoner år sedan.
